Return Policy

Orders: We attempt to keep a good supply of parts we offer in stock at all times. However,  occasionally will not have an ordered item in stock, or, do not regularly stock an item you ordered. In these circumstances, we will notify you that your order may take extra time before it ships.  If the item or items that you ordered will be delayed more then two (2) days we will notify you as soon as the information is available to us. While may substitute brand and/or like item for item ordered ONLY after contact with customer for approval.

 Time in transit: ships most orders in 1 to 2 business days. Most orders received before 12:00 pm CT will ship the same day. Once the package leaves our facility or any other warehouse facility, will not be responsible for delays or misdirected orders by carriers such as UPS, FEDEX, or United States Postal Service. To avoid delays, make absolutely sure you supply correct shipping address including correct zip code. Any part of a shipping address that is incorrect will automatically cause a delay by the carrier. If you need an item by a certain time, you are advised to make sure to select or request a specific delivery option instead of relying on the standard shipping.

 Specific policy regarding electrical/ignition parts: Under no circumstances will any electrical part (especially ignition components) be returnable, unless specifically written warranty applies and the item is first approved returnable by qualifying for such. Any ignition component deemed bad and returned under a specific warranty, but after testing is determined to actually have no problem at all, will result in a $50.00 charge to the customer for testing services, and the component returned at the customers expense.  If you order an ignition component, make sure you need the specific part before you order it. If you are concerned whether an electrical item has any warranty, please ask before you order. CDI Electronic part warranty is handled directly by CDI. Their contact number is 800.467.3371 or
ALL CDI parts are NOT returnable for credit.  Make sure you are ordering the correct part for your application.

Returns: While may substitute brand and/or like item for item ordered ONLY after contact with customer for approval. No returns will be accepted without first obtaining authorization from To obtain authorization email [email protected] or use the Contact US form on the web site. Unused products maybe returned within 14 days of receipt of initial order.  Returnable items will be subject to a 20% restock fee Returned items must be in original packaging, and in undamaged resalable condition. Any items sealed in plastic packaging are not returnable if opened. Actual Shipping charges will not be refunded for returns for credit. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer unless due to an error our part.

Returns: Service Manuals: Service manuals are not returnable for credit or refund.

Returns: Quicksilver/Mercury Parts: Since Quicksilver/Mercury Parts are shipped directly from the warehouse, Quicksilver/Mercury parts are not returnable if the package has been opened. This is Quicksilver/Mercury policy.

Special Orders: Special order items are non-returnable and non-refundable. Shipping charges will not be refunded or credited.  Returnable items must be sent to the address at the bottom of this page per our authorization instructions to receive proper credit/exchange Phone orders: When placing a phone order, you are asked for your specific boat or motor identification info. This assures you are sent the correct item in which you seek.  Make sure you give us the right info to avoid problems and additional charges incurred with returning parts.

Software: Software is not returnable for credit or refund.

 Warranty: If you feel you have a defective item that is still in warranty, you may contact for warranty information of a specific item. All warranty is handled by the manufacturer of the product. Information about warranty contacts can be provided. No warranty over the original manufacturers warranty will be provided.
